How to Complete your Learning Log – Apprentices
Go to your FI Learn dashboard and click ‘View Learning Log’.
Select ‘add new draft entries’.
Filling in the Learning Log Evidence Form.
1. Evidence name – Give the entry a name.
2. Date evidence took place – Enter the date the learning took place.
3. Type of evidence – Select the option you feel is most appropriate.
4. Sub-type – Select the option you feel is most appropriate.
5. Description – Describe what you did and what you learnt/developed as a result. If your entry is for a technical course or skills day, please include the name of this in your description.
6. Hours and Minutes – Select the time spent working on this activity. Once you have done this and saved your entry, you will then have the option to link any relevant competencies.

Next Steps
· Save and return – this will save the entry as a draft and return you to the OTJ dashboard.
· Save and stay – this will save the entry without navigating you away from the page.
· Save and add new – this will save the entry as a draft and reload another new blank evidence form for completion.
· Save and duplicate – this will save the entry as a draft and then reload a new evidence form with a duplication of all the learning data that was filled in the previous entry.
Over the month, you will build up your draft learning log entries, before submitting them to your coach for review by the deadline you have agreed with them.
To submit all draft learning log entries, go back to your learning log dashboard and select “Submit draft entries for review:”
· Your learning log dashboard will then re-load to show the following notification as confirmation that your draft entries have been submitted to your coach:
Your Learning Log for the month has now been submitted! Your coach will review your entries, accepting or rejecting and providing feedback where required.
