FI Learn Course Updates

The LMS team ‘turn off’ courses as they become obsolete. Learners can no longer access them once we turn them off. We do this for several reasons:

• To ensure students are always working from the most up to date syllabus
• To ensure students don’t submit marking on obsolete courses and don’t end up getting their mocks marked
• To ensure we’re not wasting memory/space on FI Learn

We always put a warning message on courses ahead of them expiring – this gives the student chance to contact their centre and be transferred on to the new version of the courses where appropriate (this is a centre responsibility/decision).

Please be aware that we will never switch off an ‘old’ course, before the ‘new’ course is live with content and ready for enrolments.

As we turn off old courses, we also move the new courses from the 'future' to 'current' category in FI Learn.
