CSV / HR Import - National Clients Only

This article explains how you will create pending apprentices in FI Learn during the onboarding process.

Step 1: add the correct short cuts to your menu

Step 3: upload your HR import file

Please watch this video to learn how to do the HR import. This step links your users to your organisation which allows you to view them properly in the system. You will need to complete this template.

Step 4: book the app sign up courses in ADM

The above instructions are to give you an easier way to upload your pending apprentices into FI Learn. Once you know they are actually going to be starting their apprenticeship with First Intuition, you must book an apprentice sign up course in ADM. This course booking will add them to their exam result courses, submission courses and EPA courses. The short codes required in your ADM courses are shown here. 

NB – Administrate has a character limit of 255 in the ‘FI Learn Course ID’ custom field. As some of these short code sets exceed this limit, it may be necessary to have a part 2 course which contains the remaining short codes which exceed the character limit. This is something you should be used to as this is already the case with Level 7 CTA which has a part 1 and part 2. Example:

AVOID DUPLICATE ACCOUNTS

It is critically important that the email address in ADM matches the email address you have used in your CSV import. Failure to do this will result in either the API failing or a duplicate account being created in FI Learn with the wrong user type. Before you add any learners to ADM, you must check that the email matches in FI Learn. If the email address has changed between creating them on FI Learn and adding them to ADM, please update the email field the username field in FI Learn before booking any courses in ADM.
